Maple-Bacon Cookies

The last days of our vacation have come and we are really impressed of all the things we had the chance to see here in New York. And as we did visit so many restaurants and small bakeries all over the town we could not wait showing you another new recipe for some oatmeal cookies.

Our luck was that Katie and Marcello (we stayed in there home in Brooklyn) were so kind and we were able to use their kitchen for our bakery.

One of our passions is to combine sweet and savory ingredients together. So have a look to our cupcakes made from bacon and maple syrup.

We have to say it sounds like an uncommon combination, but we've always been fans of bringing sweets an bacon together, like with our 2 Broke Guys Cupcakes. So you have to try our cookies and see for yourself ...

So now we almost have to pack and weigh our luggage so that we don't have any struggle at the airport. We have lots of stuff to bring back to Germany.

We wisch you a great start into the new week und return with some new posts next week. Till then we have one last recipe of one of our guestbloggers. So check out what Markus, Der Backbube, brings to our table on Wednesday.
